  9. Award-winning artist Cheryl Nordgulen (ChemayN) shows her work across the United States.  Her 
  10. whimsical unicorns are in high demand.  She works in oils, acrylics, scratchboard, and computer-designed 
  11. artwork.  She is disabled, having been born with the brittle bone defect, osteogenesis imperfecta.

  13. She was born in Missoula, Montana, and grew up there, developing an abiding love for for all animals, 
  14. which were her subject matter in her earlier years.  She began doing science fiction and fantasy work later 
  15. on in life.  She also does some airbrush work, mainly for T-shirts.  Each shirt is an original painting in 
  16. itself.

  18. She is a member of ASFA (the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists), the Planetary Society, 
  19. the Northwest Science Fiction Society, the Olympic Art League, and Mensa.
